It was built in Istanbul after the Dynaship concept or Dyna- Rigg German engineer Wilhelm Prölss by the Italian company Perini Navi . Each mast has 5 square sails made by Doyle Sails. The three masts nearly 60 meter high carbon fiber and were built and assembled by the company Yildiz Gemi funded by Perkins. The sails are a set of 2400 square meters of sails and masts are stored in . The Maltese Falcon has two Deutz engines of 1800 hp each. The yacht requires a minimum team of 18 people and can accommodate 12 guests. Navigation system allows this giant of the seas to be handled by one person.
