Saint Martin billfish association, our history !
The association’s founding members started the tournament because of their passion for fishing. The Saint Martin Billfish Tournament was created in 1997 on the island of Saint Martin.
Today, due to the large number of billfish released each year and the average size of the fish caught the Saint Martin Billfish Tournament is now recognized as one of the premier sport fishing tournaments in the Caribbean.
This tournament will be organized for the second time this year by the Saint Martin Sport-Fishing Association.

Any Boat fighting a fish at the time at which the lines are supposed to be out of the water will be entitled to one (1) supplementary hour to end the fight.
Boats leaving before 7 am on day 1 and 6 am on day 2 & 3 will be disqualified, however derogation might be granted by the Committee to the boats considered as slow.
Any participating boat arriving after closing time on any of the fishing days due to them assisting a vessel in distress will not be disqualified.
